Statement of capacity: aquaculture and crocodile farming industry in the Northern Territory
The Northern Territory Government commissioned the Industry Capability Network of the Northern Territory (ICN NT) to undertake an industry capability mapping and gap analysis study of the variety of businesses in the Darwin, Katherine, Arnhem and Kimberley regions associated with the aquaculture and crocodile farming industry.
ICN assessed the capability of 749 businesses against the identified scopes of work for this sector. Approximately 624 businesses were identified as service providers and 143 were identified as potential suppliers or wholesalers.
The study demonstrates that Northern Territory business have strong capabilities to provide services or supply services and products within the aquaculture and crocodile farming industry.
