Economic value of the crocodile farming industry to the Northern Territory

The Northern Territory (NT) Government and Crocodile Farmers Association NT engaged consultants Ernst and Young Australia to conduct a comprehensive valuation of the industry.

Ernst and Young published their findings in the Final report: economic value of the crocodile farming industry to the Northern Territory. The overall value of the industry to the NT in 2014/15 was $106.7 million.

The report will provide a benchmark against which future growth can be charted.
