October Business Month (OBM) provides Territory agribusinesses access to a month long program of inspirational and educational events designed to inspire and grow Territory business.

Engaging with thousands of Territorians each year, OBM is in its 27th year, proving that this program is an integral part of the community's calendar with its tailored approach for regional centres.

In 2021, OBM will continue to provide a high quality, content driven program focussed on delivering practical skills that meet the current critical needs of the business sector, including agribusiness, across all regions in the Territory.

The program will include selected keynote speakers, coupled with local Territory speakers, interactive masterclass sessions and content relevant to Territory business and industry.

Last year’s event shared the success stories of renowned author and Alice Springs cattle station raised Tanya Heaslip, Dan Richards from Australia’s biggest fish farm, Humpty Doo Barramundi, and a host of other speakers.

October Business Month is visiting the following regions:

  • Nhulunbuy: Tuesday 5 October to Friday 8 October 2021
  • Alice Springs: Monday 11 October to Friday 15 October 2021
  • Katherine: Monday 18 October to Wednesday 20 October 2021
  • Tennant Creek: Wednesday 20 October to Friday 22 October 2021
  • Darwin: Monday 25 October to Friday 29 October 2021.

Details of the full program will be available online early next month, so keep an eye out for the full list of regional speakers, masterclasses and industry discussions.
