Are you a small business or not-for-profit organisation? The Business Growth Program is available to help businesses improve their performance, sustainability and profitability.

Grants of up to $10,000 can support recipients with access to professional services, such as strategy, marketing, operations, finance, and people and culture.

After you have completed elected professional services, your organisation can also receive mentoring and coaching as part of the program.

Relationships Australia – Northern Territory experience

Relationships Australia – Northern Territory used a grant from the Northern Territory Government’s Business Growth program to review its cyber resilience.

Chief executive Terri-ann Maney’s plan to order an IT audit as soon as she was appointed 18 months ago was given added impetus by the Optus and Medicare hacking scares.

“IT security is particularly important to Relationships Australia – Northern Territory because we deal with many vulnerable people.”

Relationships Australia used a grant from the Northern Territory Government’s Business Growth program to review its cyber resilience.

Ms Maney said the Business Growth grant was crucial in not only enabling the audit but providing an Improvement plan.

“The grant was very useful – it gave us support to secure Independent expertise”.

Relationship Australia, which has offices in Darwin, Alice Springs and Katherine, celebrated its 50th year in the Territory last year.

In the 2022-23 Financial year, Business and Workforce has issued 1,433 grants to Territory businesses.
