Win a YETI in our #spotapollinator photo competition

Published

The department’s Plant Biosecuity Team is giving five Territorians the chance to win a YETI in our #spotapollinator photo competition.

The competition is being run to celebrate the upcoming Australian Pollinator Week which takes place from 12-20 November 2022.

The designated week acknowledges the importance of insect pollinators and encourages communities, businesses and organisations to come together to raise awareness of our pollinators and how we can support their needs.

How to enter

To enter the competition:

  • Take a photo of an insect pollinator in the Northern Territory – e.g. bees, butterflies, moths, wasps, beetles, thrips and flies
  • Upload and share the photo on your Facebook or Instagram account by 11:59pm on 27 November 2022
  • Ensure the social media post includes hashtag #spotapollinator and you have included the location of where the photo was taken – e.g. Katherine, Northern Territory
  • Make sure your social media account is set to ‘public’ so we can see your #spotapollinator post. Please also ensure your account remains ‘public’ until after the winners are announced
  • Repeat the above process for each entry. You can enter the competition as many times as you like
  • Entry into the competition will close on Sunday, 27 November 2022.
