NDIS Essentials for new and existing providers

Keogh Bay Consulting is developing a suite of online resources and is facilitating a series of workshops on behalf of the Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade to guide new and existing NT providers in various aspects of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) service delivery.

The two workshops are catered to new and existing NDIS providers.

Workshops for new NDIS providers

  • Demystifying the NDIS (what is the NDIS, participant journey and plans)
  • Demystifying the NDIS provider market (registered vs non-registered providers, understanding the pricing framework, and choosing the right Registration Groups)
  • Getting started as a NDIS Provider – practical stages of setting up a NDIS business
  • Process of becoming a registered or non-registered provider (registration process, audit information etc)
  • Quality and safeguarding introduction and in practice – business and risk management, financial management, workforce, delivery of supports and participant safety

Workshops for existing NDIS providers

  • Quality and safeguarding in practice
  • Best practice governance
  • Best practice business, including risk and incident management
  • Meeting workforce requirements – such as skills, screening and training
  • Financial management for sustainability
  • Delivery of quality supports
  • Keeping participants safe
