Aboriginal procurement policy regional roadshow

The Northern Territory Government is committed to improving employment, business and economic outcomes for all Territorians by creating more transparency in the way government tender for, assesses and awards its contracts.

Businesses interested in applying for Northern Territory Government contracts and tenders, are invited to attend an information session to learn more about the Aboriginal economic participation framework and Aboriginal procurement policy.

In this session, you will find out about the Aboriginal economic participation framework, which is designed to both encourage and promote increased Aboriginal participation in the Territory economy as well as support enhanced social inclusion for all Territorians.

You’ll also find out more about the Northern Territory Government’s Aboriginal procurement policy which commences 1 July 2022, providing a step change in the advancement of Aboriginal business and employment opportunities through government contracting activities.
