Dr Scrimgeour awarded Public Service Medal at Territory Day ceremony

As the head of the Northern Territory Geological Survey for more than 15 years, Dr Ian Scrimgeour was recently awarded a Public Service Medal in the 2022 Australia Day honours.

Dr Scrimgeour was recognised for his leadership and contribution to geoscience and his outstanding public service to the Territory.  Well known for his positive nature and passion for the industry, Dr Scrimgeour has served more than 25 years in the NT Public Sector.

The investiture ceremony was conducted last week on 1 July 2022 by the NT Administrator, Her Honour the Honourable Vicki O’Halloran AO at Government House.
