RSPCA Microchipping Day

Published

The Animal Welfare Branch (AWB) attended the second RSPCA Microchipping Day on 10 April.

Approximately 77 pet owners attended on the day and 107 pet owners pre-registered.

Animal Welfare Inspectors Ryan Sage and Emily Rees said AWB’s attendance was a worthwhile exercise as it presented an opportunity for the AWB to educate the community about AWB and network with the RSPCA and council rangers.

The AWB team had so much fun on the day handing out frisbees, collars, stickers and flyers. Ryan’s dog, Maddy, particularly enjoyed the day, receiving lots of love and pats.
