Hospitality and Tourism Careers Fairs
The Northern Territory Government in partnership with Charles Darwin University are holding a Hospitality and Tourism Careers Fair in each major region during May and June.
The networking fairs are an opportunity for job seekers looking to enter into an apprenticeship or traineeship to meet with hospitality and tourism employers, and registered training organisations to help fill a wide range of roles.
Jobseekers are encouraged to bring along their resume as there may be prospective employers who will hire on the spot.
The Hospitality and Tourism Careers Fair is part of the Work Stay Play initiative to address the critical worker shortage to help fill a wide range of roles across the sector.
Jobseekers can view a range of hospitality and tourism job vacancies on the Territory Jobs Board
Hospitality and Tourism businesses are also encouraged to post their vacancies for free on the Territory Jobs Board.
Free and low cost training courses are also available at a number of locations and online.
The first networking fair kicks off in Alice Springs. Registrations for each event can be made via EventBrite.
