Trade Support Scheme Quick Response Grants now open

A second round of grant funding is now available to support Territory businesses engage with international markets to establish or expand their exporting capabilities.

The Trade Support Scheme Quick Response Grants are designed to support Territory businesses who are unable to travel to key international markets as part of growing their export and trade capabilities due to the global impact of COVID-19.

Funding of up to $5,000 is available to eligible recipients to carry out activities and works that drive increase international trade revenue and export activity.

There are two categories of support available for Territory businesses:

  • export planning - businesses can engage a specialist export consultant to develop or update export strategies and plans to entre, re-engage or expand into international markets.
  • digital solutions - support is available to help businesses undertake key digital trade enhancements including developing/modifying e-commerce platforms and websites, foreign language translations, and participation in virtual/online events and tradeshows.

Applications are now open and close 30 June 2021 or until funds are fully exhausted.
