Animal Welfare Grants awarded

The latest round of Animal Welfare Grants have been awarded by the Department of Primary Industry and Resources (DPIR).

DPIR provide Animal Welfare Grants through the Animal Welfare fund.

The fund provided financial support to organisations to improve animal welfare, raised community awareness of responsibilities in regard to animal welfare and assisted in progressing animal management practices, particularly in remote communities.

The grants see organisations assisting Territory’s pets and native wildlife able to expand, or provide better services across the Northern Territory.
