Mining regulation dashboard

The Northern Territory Government’s Mines Branch is responsible for the assessment and granting of exploration licences, and for the assessment of mining management plans to authorise mining activities.

Key performance indicators are set by the Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade around timeliness and efficiency. This is important to increase certainty for industry and the community.

To increase transparency around decisions-making timeframes, quarterly reports are made available.
