WorldSkills

WorldSkills Australia (WSA) is a national organisation that has been actively celebrating and promoting the standards and status of vocational training and skills excellence since 1981.

WSA not only showcases skills for the economic prosperity of Australia, it also equips young Australians with the skills to compete in the globalised economy of the future.

Through programs of competitions and international pathways, WorldSkills Australia inspires excellence in skills and instils confidence in young people to succeed. They achieve this goal through competitions held on a regional, national and international level. All three levels of competition run biennially.

Regional competitions lead into national competitions and national competition winners, if eligible, can become members of the Team Australia Skillaroos.

The next round of regional competitions will be held from September 2021 to November 2022.

Winners of the regional competitions will compete at the national competitions in August 2023.

Selected winners from the national competition will compete as Skillaroos in October 2024.
