Developing Northern Australia Conference 2021

The Developing Northern Australia Conference provides a platform for leaders, decision makers, industry representatives and community members to lead the way in advancing our northern regions.

Proudly sponsored by the Northern Territory Government and Developing the North, this long-standing event is designed for attendees to network with key industry leaders and share research, developments and case studies contributing to the growth of northern Australia.

The conference, which offers a mixture of in-person and virtual sessions, will be held from 16 to 18 August 2021 at the Darwin Convention Centre.

2021 theme is Rebound and resilience: leveraging the north’s potential for Australia’s recovery

This year’s theme offers the opportunity to host some exceptional speakers who will provide vital knowledge across all sectors of northern region development.

Topics include: liveability and employment; health and emergency management; Aboriginal leadership and development; energy and water for development diversity; supply chains and innovation in traditional industries; security, defence and our position in the region; and international relations, trade and investment.
