Developing Northern Australia Conference

The Developing Northern Australia Conference attracts a range of stakeholders all working towards achieving better economic, social, policy and environmental outcomes for the north and its people.

Held annually in July, the conference is an opportunity to come together to celebrate progress and to refine strategic efforts in areas such as investment, health, defence, workforce and industry development and natural resource management. It is an event that enables strong Indigenous and other important voices from across the north to come together to share stories and build partnerships for business, research, investment and problem solving.

Darwin has been selected as the host location in 2023 because of its strategic links with Asia and the Territory’s key role in developing and progressing the Northern Australia agenda. The annual conference is expected to attract approximately 400 delegates and brings together leaders, decision makers, industry representatives and community providing insight to investment opportunities and new projects.
