May 2021 Variation of the conditions of licences

On 28 May 2021 the Northern Territory Liquor Commission concluded its inquiry into the variation of the conditions of licences in the Barkly region.

Pursuant to section 113(4) of the Liquor Act 2019, the commission has provided a copy of the decision notice to licensees.

Review of conditions of liquor licences - Barkly region

In October 2020, the Northern Territory Liquor Commission initiated a review of the conditions of liquor licences in the Barkly region and called for submissions. The following submissions were received:

On 6 January 2021, the Liquor Commission gave notice of proposed variations of conditions of licences in the Barkly region, pursuant to section 113(2) of the Liquor Act 2019.

Affected licensees and other interested parties are invited to submit a response to the proposed variations by 3 February 2021 to liquor.commission@nt.gov.au.

May 2018 Variation of conditions of liquor licences - Barkly region

The Northern Territory Liquor Commission has concluded its inquiry into the supply of takeaway liquor in the Barkly region and has determined to vary the conditions of licences in the way the commission considers appropriate.

Pursuant to section 33(4) of the Liquor Act, the commission has given written notice to licensees of its final determination in relation to takeaway trading hours and takeaway limits throughout the Barkly, and the reasons for the proposed variations.
